Road Occupation Permit - Section 58

You can apply to occupy the public road in connection with building operations by completing our Section 58 Road Occupation Permit.

If anything is placed on the public road without first obtaining a permit, an offence is committed under 

This permit covers works including:

  • Mobile crane
  • Elevating platform

Permits run for a maximum period of 4 weeks and will be subject to our standard conditions for road occupation. The council may apply further conditions as deemed appropriate.
