ÄÛ²ÝÓ°Ôº Council is inviting members of the public to have their say on plans to create a Municipal Harbour Authority in Oban when its six-week statutory public consultation goes live on Thursday (30 November).
Ambitious plans to build hundreds of new affordable homes across ÄÛ²ÝÓ°Ôº have been unveiled as part of the latest update to the area’s Strategic Housing Investment Plan (SHIP).
ÄÛ²ÝÓ°Ôº is one of a small number of council areas in Scotland to receive levelling up funding - £20 million – announced in yesterday’s UK Government Autumn Statement.
To help support local businesses and encourage local spending, all council off-street pay and display parking will be free across ÄÛ²ÝÓ°Ôº in the run up to Christmas from 11th to 24th December inclusive.
Pupils at Hermitage Primary are advocating for safer streets and a greener environment at their school by launching a campaign to address parking issues during drop-off and collection times.
