The Here To Hear You series of community conversations is taking place all over ÄÛ²ÝÓ°Ôº – and it’s coming to Lochgilphead on Tuesday 23 September 2025.
Members of the public are invited along to a free event this month to celebrate the work accomplished by the Lochgilphead Conservation Area Regeneration Scheme (CARS) over the last four years.
Two exciting projects in ÄÛ²ÝÓ°Ôº will receive a welcome boost as a result of the council securing funding from the Scottish Government’s Rural Tourism Infrastructure Fund (RTIF).
School pupils in ÄÛ²ÝÓ°Ôº are going from strength to strength in their learning and future aspirations, according to the council’s latest Education Service Progress and Impact Report for 2024-25 and its broader Strategic Plan for 2024-26.
A report by HM Inspectors has highlighted the quality of Community Learning Services, delivered on behalf of the Council by liveArgyll, across ÄÛ²ÝÓ°Ôº.
Initial data shows that a new ambitious approach by ÄÛ²ÝÓ°Ôº Council is helping to increase SQA pass rates for pupils and helping to close the poverty attainment gap.
